Revolt installed two charging points in the form of a Revolt Hub. “The charging stations were installed quickly, and the Hub is a real eye-catcher for our building.” says Sander Kruis, Commercial Manager at Team Jumbo-Visma. “We have received many positive reactions to the Hub, especially the visuals that we as Team Jumbo-Visma have been able show on the screens are very appealing.” Kruis continues.
Sustainable building
In order to realize a future-proof charging solution, a charging plan has been designed together with Team Jumbo-Visma. This charging solution contributes to the requirements of the BREEAM-NL certificate, that already applied on the building. BREEAM-NL has been the certification method for a sustainable built environment since 2009. With this method, projects are assessed for integral sustainability. One of the requirements is the minimization of light pollution, for example the lighting (with the exception of emergency lighting) must be switched off after 23:00. In consultation with Team Jumbo-Visma, it has therefore been decided to switch off the Hub automatically after 23:00, so that the Hub does not form an obstacle to the certificate.
Latest technology
By installing charging infrastructure, Team Jumbo-Visma is taking a major step towards structurally reducing the CO2-footprint. In the upcoming years, more and more electric cars will be added to their fleet and the need for charging stations at Team Jumbo-Visma will grow. With the Revolt charging station subscription, it is easy for Team Jumbo-Visma to expand the number of charging stations and always have access to the latest charging technology without having to invest in technology.
